Ingredient notes

Red watermelon slush

  • Frozen watermelon cubes: If you don’t have time to freeze watermelon, you can add 1-2 cups of ice and double the sugar and lemon juice to preserve the flavor.
  • sugar: This little bit of added sweetness hits the spot, but adjust to your personal taste.
  • Lemonade: Fresh is best.

White cream: The store-bought or homemade version will work great.

Blueberry Slushy

  • Frozen blueberries: Instead of adding ice, just add frozen blueberries.
  • orange juice: I love this flavor combination with blueberries. It just brings brightness to the drink.
  • Ginger soda: This is our favorite soda for this recipe, but you can definitely use lemon-lime soda as well. If your blender is having trouble blending because it seems too thick, you can add a little extra soda – a little at a time.
