Ingredients

Dough

  • 50 g carrot
  • 50 g yellow onion
  • 20 g fresh parsley
  • 150 ml milk
  • 75 ml water
  • 15 g granulated sugar
  • 10 g instant yeast
  • 1 egg (medium)
  • 25 ml sunflower oil
  • 500 g all-purpose flour
  • 7.5 g salt (1⅙ tsp)
  • 3 g curry powder (1 tsp)
  • 2 g cumin powder (⅔ tsp)
  • 2 g cayenne pepper (⅔ tsp)

Extra

  • 5 ml sunflower oil

Chicken Mixture

  • 25 ml olive oil
  • 700 g chicken fillet
  • 4.5 g salt (⅔ tsp)
  • 5 g curry powder (1⅔ tsp)
  • 2 g cumin powder (⅔ tsp)
  • 2 g cayenne pepper (⅔ tsp)
  • 3 g onion powder (1 tsp)
  • 5 g garlic powder (1⅔ tsp)
  • 25 g sweet soy sauce
  • 50 g spring onion
  • 100 g mayonnaise
  • 60 g chili sauce

Instructions

  1. Put the carrot, yellow onion, and parsley in a food processor and blend until coarsely chopped.
  2. In a bowl, mix the milk, water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 3 minutes. Add the egg, sunflower oil, and vegetable mixture. Mix well. Add flour, salt, curry powder, cumin powder, and cayenne pepper. Knead for 10-12 minutes.
  3. Grease a bowl with 5 ml sunflower oil. Shape the dough into a ball and place it in the bowl. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. On a floured surface, roll the dough into a 35×40 cm sheet. Cut into pieces with a pizza cutter. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Let rise for 30 minutes or until doubled in size.
  5. Heat sunflower oil in a frying pan over medium heat (175°C). Fry the dough pieces for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Cut the chicken into small cubes. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chicken, salt, curry powder, cumin powder, cayenne pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Cook until done. Remove from heat, add sweet soy sauce and spring onion.
