Plus, these cookies are super easy to make. And No need for a blenderAll ingredients are collected in just one bowl.

Plus, you won’t find an unhealthy amount of peanut butter and butter in these cookies. So I can say they are healthier, even though they don’t taste as good.

You’ll also be relieved to know that these cookies don’t require a lot of fancy ingredients. Just simple ingredients like creamy peanut butter, and other basic ingredients; Including an egg.

*Pro Tip: Make sure your eggs are at room temperature*

Oh yeah, I would recommend putting the egg in the oven for at least an hour or so before making these cookies. I’m sure you’re wondering why it matters so much.

I was wondering what the big problem was with using room temperature ingredients in some recipes. That is, until I eagerly tried making cookies with a cookie cutter Cold egg one day. I thought it wouldn’t really matter.

But, it doesn’t really matter..

I found it difficult to mix the egg with the other ingredients, as it was tough due to the extreme cold. On the other hand, my experience using room temperature eggs has always been successful.

An egg at room temperature is softer, making it easier to combine with other ingredients. I also think that using a cold egg does not help the cookies have the best texture and taste.

Let me tell you I learned from that experience! Since then, I’ve vowed to only use room temperature eggs in my future cake recipes. Just letting you knowso you can avoid being exposed to a similar situation.

Brown sugar, regular sugar, or both?

The standard for most cookie recipes is usually to add brown sugar a light Brown sugar. Peanut butter cookies are no exception. They usually contain either light brown sugar, or a mixture of light brown sugar and regular sugar.

I’m for both scenarios, but I think I prefer combining both sugars more. This is mainly because you get a more balanced flavour, not just a caramel taste, from just using brown sugar. This is just my opinion on the matter…

Fortunately, with these peanut butter cookies without brown sugar; You can’t really tell there’s no brown sugar in it. Besides its distinctive caramel flavour, brown sugar is known to add moisture to cookies. This helps them have a softer, chewy texture.

You won’t get the distinct caramel flavor with these cookies, but they still have a similar flavor to peanut butter cookies made with brown sugar.

I’m sure you won’t detect the absence of brown sugar after tasting these cookies. What you’ll taste is a healthy peanut butter cookie with melt-in-your-mouth flavor!

When making cookies, I find it easier to add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, rather than adding everything together at once.

To be honest, the more I try to add everything together; The dough does not come out properly. I’m still working on doing it this way successfully. But for now, adding the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients works for me. This method has produced some great cookie recipes so far.

Peanut Butter Cookies Without Brown Sugar Ingredients:

You only need simple ingredients to make these amazing cookies. I’ve listed the wet ingredients before the dry ingredients, as they are used first in the recipe.

  • Creamy Peanut Butter: If you like, you can try using chunky peanut butter as well. Meaning if you want a denser texture. You may only need to add a little milk.
  • Melted Butter: A small amount to add a little butter flavor.
  • Dairy or dairy-free milk
  • Room Temperature: Trust me, you don’t want to deal with using a cold egg. It is easiest to work with a room temperature egg.
  • Vanilla extract: Don’t forget to add this. I forgot to add it in a cookie recipe once, and I could tell the difference right away. The cookies were not delicious and bland.
  • Regular granulated sugar: No brown sugar is needed for these peanut butter cookies.
  • A little salt: to enhance the flavor of the biscuits.
  • Baking powder and baking soda
  • Flour for all uses
